Recently, I joined a group in facebook
which said group tackled about Parenting concern. I joined the group because I
want to have more ideas with other group members who were also mother like me
on parenting aspects. By these means interaction with other group members like
exchanging ideas, problems they encounter as new mom in taking care of their
child and other reactions and comments of a member concerns.
I am happy to be one of the
member, it really give me new thought and ideas from other people experiences. Through
engaging in a social media likewise like this group gives me useful information to learned many things.
In
short time that I became a member of that group, I noticed that some of the
problem facing and being shared and discussed by some mother was on choosing
between giving up their job and to take care of their child. It is hard that
they face situation like this, choosing between job and their kids, then of
course a lot of reason in line with these situation. It really a challenged and
a big decision to make as mother since both are important to us specifically
those employed mother.
I
know it really hard to a mother on this situation. Like putting two important
aspect in our life into balance, our responsibility to take care of our
children and our job. Our responsibility as employee since our jobs is our
means to earn for a living for our children and our Children which is the
reason why we are working hard.
Taking care of our children
is hard to do, However we can do the same things at the same time. We can work and earn for a living and at the
same time take care of our children. Then of course we can seek for help or
hire some nanny or baby sitter to our child when we left home to go to work.
Just a little bit patience and time management to do everything.
I am a mother of three (3)
kids and I am a full time employee. Yes
we can do it at the same time. We can have job and take care of our children at
the same time. Just a matter of time management, patience and perseverance. Anyway as full time employee, it’s not all the time
or 24/7 that we are working definitely after our tour of duty it’s time to go
home so we can used our time for our children to take care of them, spend quality
time for them. Just remember and accept that as parent our children is our
responsibility. No complaint for that! Period.
Here are some ways to Spend Quality time with our children:
1. After your work have time to play
with your Children. Put it on your schedule time to play with them.
2. Do Household Chores together with
your Children. After your work when you go home and time to do your household
chores, involved your children to do it and teach them about it.
3. Spend Time for a walk with your
Children. You can go to the park or you can walk together within your
neighborhood to have time and at the same time to talk with them.
4. Watch a movie with your children.
You can watch movie on your home or you can watch in a cinema or theater with
your kids. Just remember to choose movies suitable for their ages.
5. Go out and eat together or have a
family date. Maybe on your favorite restaurant or foods house.
6.
Maintain communication with your children and explain to them so that
they will understand why you need to leave them for a while in order you to
work, so that they will understand your purposes.
As
parent, working to earn for a living and for our children and taking care of
them is our responsibility. This is important, that is why since it is
important to us. Let’s have put our best to maintain the balance of our career
and our children. Beside the reason of our hard work is for our children…I KNOW
IT HARD BUT WE CAN DO IT... YES WE CAN DO IT.
