Tips on ideal toys for children (#003)



It’s Christmas season…a time for Gift giving … and buying gift to children…may be your godchildren, your children and others relatives. Moreover even other occasions such birthdays, baptism and other events usually we buy gift for children.

…and when we think gifts for children… Toy’s was on your list. May be I’m right…  This is not to encouraged you to buy toys as gift, you can buy any gift for children but if you decide to buy a toys for your gift, this season.  I hope this blog will have great help for you.
Here are some tips to consider in buying toys for children and also tips to parent to always check the toys before giving to your own children for their safety.   

1.  Always buy toys that are labeled for the correct age range.  The age recommendations on toys are about safety. Toys for children under three(3) years old should be bigger than the child's fist to avoid the risk of choking. If a toys have no label for ideal age. Time to think to watch out for.

2. Always inspect toys before giving them to your child. See to it that it was in good condition and that parts that could not break off and be swallowed. If you are not particular with the toys assist your child in playing said toys for child safety.

3. Avoid toys with long strings for babies and toddlers, as they may cause a risk of strangulation.

4. Check the batteries on toys. Old batteries can leak and swallowed and can cause poisoning. If you give your child battery-operated toys, make sure that the batteries are in good condition, and secure inside the toy.

5. Avoid toys with magnets. Magnets can cause serious injury or death if children swallow them. Do not give toys with magnets to small children.

6. Buy toys which is affordable. Be practical choose the affordable one not the expensive. The essence of giving is not measured by its price but the happiness you will provide to those who will receive your gift.

7. Buy toys with educational or learning purposes to children. This is important to children. They will just not play but playing of such toys will contribute to their learning capability.

8.  Buy toys that children can love. If you can ask the child of what toys he/she want. It is an advantage to you in what toys to buy. Children usually have favorite toys and maybe if you he/she will receive said toys it’s a great joy for the child.

9.  Avoid panic buying. Give a little bit time to check on the toys you will buy.

10. Before shopping know the Gender and age of the child for your gift.  So that you will be able to know the right toys to buy for them. Get updated on age of the child. If you are not sure or not particular with the child gender choose a toys which is unisex.
