Why Playing important to children (#006)

Playing is define by cambridge dictionary as an activity by spending time doing an enjoyable and/or entertaining activity.

The United Nation Convention on the Rights of the Child (adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations, November 20, 1989), which states that the child has a right to leisure, play, and participation in cultural and artistic activities. It recognized the important of playing in Child development and as a right of every child.

          As parent, we all want the best for our children, we want them to grow up with discipline and learn a lot.

To parent like me, just chill out if your child play even if scattered a lot of mess while playing in your house because it is normal for children to play. Other parent get mad to their children playing. Sometimes parent prevent their child to play and wanted just to study their lesson without knowing that Playing also learning to children. We must understand their nature that kids play and they need it.

Then. why is it playing is importance? what are really the importance of playing to Children.

Here are the following reason of the Importance of playing to children:

 1. Through playing it allow Children to use their creativity while developing their imagination.

2. Playing help your child to develop social skills. Through playing together with other kids it help them to interact with other kids.

3. Playing help your child develop motor skill. Through playing it help the precise movement of their muscle.

4. Playing Develop cognitive thinking of a child. Cognitive thinking refers to the use of mental activities and skills to perform tasks such as learning, reasoning, understanding, remembering, paying attention and more.

5. Playing help the healthy development of a child.

6. Playing develop brain and language skills of a child to be mature.

Thus, when children play, they learn to solve problems, to get along with others and to develop the fine and gross motor skills needed to grow and learn. Playing is a means of learning to live, not a mere passing of time. With the proper supervision of an adult playing contribute a lot on their learning process.
